Love Is Life - Hello My Love

Hello
Sometimes one word is enough to awaken a thousand memories
Sometimes a simple hello is the beginning of a love we were never prepared to find
Hello, my love
I don't know if you can hear my heart tonight
But every silent beat still speaks your name
And somewhere between yesterday and tomorrow
I keep searching for the moment when our souls first recognized each other
Hello, can you hear me through the silence
Can you feel me when the night is cold
I have carried your memory for so long
Like a secret my heart refuses to let go
I have walked through countless empty streets
Looking for the shadow of your smile
And every road that took me far from you
Somehow brought me closer after a while
Maybe love is not about holding someone forever
Maybe love is knowing their soul
And still choosing tenderness when life gives you every reason to become cold
Maybe some people enter our lives not to stay forever
But to teach our hearts
What forever is supposed to feel like
